Valentine's
Day
Love day is for everyone no matter how, or with whom you choose to spend it. Whether you plan to spend it with your partner, your friends, or your family, there is a Valentine's event in Santa Cruz just for you! Read on for 5 ways to celebrate this Valentine's Day.

1. 'An Evening of Comedy with Lucas Zelnick' at the Rio Theatre
Lucas Zelnick is a New York-based comedian and Stanford graduate who gained recognition through TikTok. His comedic style is intended to be intellectually stimulating, challenging his cushy upbringing through punch-heavy material. Doors open at 6:30pm and the show starts at 7:30pm.

Want to make it a dinner date, too? Grab a meal in Midtown from The Crepe Place, The Midway, Lillian's Italian Kitchen, Sugo Italian Pasta Bar, Charlie Hong Kong, Viva's Mexican Food, Akira, or Bookie's Pizza before the show.

2. All You Need is Crafts! at Abbott Square
Get crafty and unleash your inner artist with:
- Simple Embroidery: Bring a piece of clothing from home and learn a basic design.
- Decoupage Magic: Transform ordinary mason jars into enchanting mini lanterns.
- Magnetic Mayhem: Create adorable or sassy magnets to share with your peeps.
- Mall Photos: Pose with friends with our retro mall inspired backdrop and photographer.
Check-in between 5:30-6PM
Craft and photos stations run from 6-8PM

Want to make it a dinner date, too? Grab a meal at Abbott Square from Pana Venezuelan Food, Daisuki Octagon Sushi, Pizzeria la Bufala, Flashbird Chicken, Veg on the Edge, Belly Goat Burgers, or Press. You can also enjoy a drink from Front and Cooper or a coffee from Cat & Cloud if that is more your vibe.

3. Get a heart shaped pie from Pizza My Heart
What says love more than pizza?!? 14" pie with 2 toppings can be yours for $29.75. Pack a blanket and some drinks, and take it to the beach for a little picnic OR take it to the couch and turn on your favorite movie for a movie night. The possibilities are endless!

4. Grab Dinner with Your Sweetie at Venus Spirits
Enjoy a romantic dinner with cocktail and dinner specials at Venus Spirits on Valentine's Day from 4pm - 9pm.
Reservations are recommended, make your reservation here.
And, while on the West Side, you can take a stroll down West Cliff to catch the sunset over the Pacific Ocean. (Sunset is at 5:48pm and the forecast is looking good!)

5. Grab your girls and celebrate Galentine's Day at Humble Sea!
**This event is Saturday, February 15th** from 12pm-5pm
The majority of their menu will feature items produced by women-owned/operated beverage makers. It's all about uplifting and celebrating the incredible women in our community!
Join Humble Sea on the West Side for beers & beverages, vendors, music, and giving back!
This event is free to attend. 10% of sales from Humble Sea will be donated to the Walnut Avenue Family & Women's Center.
