Looking Left choreographers include Molly Katzman, Damara Ganley, Katie Griffin, Cynthia Ling Lee, David King, Cid Pearlman, Cynthia Strauss & Matthew Shyka, and Collette Kollewe & Erin Reynolds.

As part of our community engagement initiative, the festival also features three youth companies – Motion Pacific Teen Company, Kirby Dance Company, and Tannery World Dance & Cultural Center’s Teen Company.

The kick off event for the Looking Left festival is a FREE encore performance of Economies of Effort: 1 at the Santa Cruz Museum of Art & History, Wednesday, October 12th at 7:30. And if you go the Collects exhibit at the MAH, which opens on October 7th, you will have an opportunity to see ephemera from 25 years of dance making by Cid Pearlman Performance/Nesting Dolls
